Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen - From '80s Teen Movies to Middle Aged Sitcom Stars

Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen - From '80s Teen Movies to Middle Aged Sitcom Stars

Why do we root for Charlie, the womanizing, self-centered, hedonist? He's played by Charlie Sheen, who had real-life institution for the part. His whiny brother, Alan (John Cryer) throws a hindrance to Charlie's life style when he moves in "just until he can get on his feet." This was the first part of the first season in 2003. Alan is still there, along with his son, Jake (Angus T. Jones).

Jake has grown up on this show, and is now a teenager, bringing his annoying behavior to accelerate the contention between the two brothers. Since they are exact opposites, this association all the time has new, never-ending fodder for the sitcom. Jake is usually in the middle, with dad and uncle looking his study from separate angles. One part left Charlie with his brother's trust to help Jake conclude a report. But Charlie instead educated Jake with a day at the track.

To add to the comedy is Berta (Conchatta Ferrell), Charlie's housekeeper, and dispenser of hilarious perspectives. She fends off all their attempts to be her boss, and controls the house, and sometimes their lives, when she's there.

Their dear mother, Evelyn (Holland Taylor), is only dear to herself. She had only manipulative use for her sons, much preferring to save herself for her lovers, one of which was Martin Sheen, Charlie's father in real life. On the show he was Rose's (Melanie Lynskey) father, the next-door neighbor who stalks and is obsessed with Charlie.

Many stars play parts, or themselves on the show. Each one adds to the laughs, and keeps viewers wondering who will be next in line. But straight through it all, we still root for Charlie.

prognosis of the True Meaning of Magnolia

Everyone who has Watched the much-praised film "Magnolia" actually walked out of the theater with maybe a feeling of awe, but most likely an remarkable blurring over its ending, especially the scene with the shower of frogs.

A key aspect to interpreting the true meaning of this film lies in its many references of Exodus 8:2 from the bible. The most unavoidable reference was in the scene right before the start of the Quiz show. A woman is seen holding a sign that clearly has the words "Exodus 8:2" written on it, but is abruptly escorted out of the audience by security.

Below are other examples of references to the numbers 8 and 2 in the movie, as listed in the trivia section of imdb.com

o weather forecast: 82% opportunity of rain

o a gambler needs a 2 in blackjack but gets an 8

o the coil of rope when the boy commits suicide

o the first temperature reading

o the movie poster at the bus stop on Magnolia Blvd

o the placard on the hanged convicts

o Jim Kurring's box whole at the date hotline

o Sydney Barringer's mom and father's apartMent whole is 682

o the forensic science practice starts at 8:20

o Delmer Darion flips over a stack of cards to tell the 8 straight through 2 of diamonds

o right after Jim Kurring sees Donnie Smith climbing up the building, you can see a flash of a sign on the side of the road that says "Exodus 8:2″ (it's graphic again when the frogs fall and hit Kurring's car)

o the whole on the firefighter's plane.

o in Marcy's mugshots, her criminal report whole is 82082082082

o in the bar scene there is a chalkboard with two teams, the frog and the clouds, the score is 8 to 2

o spray painted on the ceMent as graffiti next to the boy.

o member of the game show crowd holds a placard with Exodus 8:2 written on it

o the kids were two days away from entering their eighth week as champions.

o Quiz Kid Donnie Smith won his 100 000 Dollars on 28 April 1968

o The first two numbers of the Seduce and Destroy Hotline (1-877-Tame-Her) are 82.

o one of the hanged Men has the 82 on his Clothes

o Jim says he gets off work at 8:00, and Claudia suggests they meet 2 hours later for a date

And here is Exodus 8:2 -

And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my citizen go, that they may serve me.
And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs.

Another foremost piece of the puzzle comes from Dixon, the young boy who raps to Jim after his discovery of the murders. The following is an excerpt from Dixon's rap:

Check that ego, come off it, I'm the Prophet,

You're living to get older with a chip on your shoulder.

He's running from the devil, but the debt is always gaining,

When the sunshine don't work, the good Lord bring the rain in.

Dixon calls himself the "Prophet" but he could be interpreted an postponement of god. He takes Jim's gun after it was lost, yet while the frog shower, the gun falls from the sky along with the frogs - a sign that the boy had some control over the events.

The second and third lines of the rap are warning Jim that he's living to move higher ("to get older") yet there is something burdening him. Dixon is telling Jim that what he is doing isn't right and warning him to stop. However, Jim doesn't listen to the rapper just like how the Pharaoh of Egypt did not listen to Moses. This message is not only meant for Jim, but it also symbolizes the wrongness in the lives of all the other characters. The last line warns that if God is ignored, he will bring on the rain.

An foremost key note is that the characters all admit their wrongs but can't seem to get past them. Claudia, for example, is addicted to cocaine but can do nothing to stop, Linda feels terrible guilt for cheating on Earl and attempts to take her name off his will but can't, and even Earl uses his final breaths to admit his mistreatment of his son and wife and pleads for forgiveness from Frank but he does not receive one.

The rain of frogs signifies God's wake-up call to everyone. The rain of frogs - the highly strange, roughly absurd situation - was a way for God to tell every person that they have done wrong and sinned. However, the shower is his message that he is always Watching over the world and can intervene to help when help is needed. After the rain of frogs, the characters appear to whether make peace with their problems and have succeeded or, in the example of Jimmy Gator's death, failed. This shows that although god is there to help, not all things always works out perfectly and there are always the ones who are punished instead of saved.

Please note that this is not an valid interpretation and the scene of the frog shower is among the most debated topic in the movie world. Accept my interpretation at your own discretion and form your own opinions on the matter, which is most likely what the writer P. T. Anderson had intended.

Job hunters must highlight their results in five ways:

For example, maybe you helped your employers make more profits, cut costs, growth productivity, or complete work Faster. Also, show off awards you won - either from your employers for your great work or even from schools you attended.

Why is this ultra-important? Because clubs crave to hire 'Winners, Duh!'

Also, job seekers must talk about their work and educational experiences in only three ways:
(a) distinct or (b) distinct or (c) positive. Reason: Hiring managers love hiring job applicants who focus on positives. So, your every interaction with a potential employer must display you acting optimistic, upbeat, and confident.

Warning to job hunters: Hiring managers hate job candidates who whine, moan, and complain. So, all the time focus on the distinct - since you want to get job offers.

2. "Tiger'S Blood"

Charlie Sheen bragged about his "Tiger's Blood." He meant 'tiger's blood" in a distinct way.

For job hunters, 'tiger's blood' means showing enthusiasm and power throughout your job search. For example, in job interviews, show enthusiasm for the job opportunity, enthusiasm for the company, and enthusiasm about results you achieved. In job interviews, winners act enthusiastic non-stop.

In contrast, losers act like they're on Quaaludes. Do not do that.

Did You Hire Tim Tebow on Friday and Charlie Sheen Showed Up for Work on Monday?

We have all done that in our expert lives and the decision had consequences. Some of us have made that mistake more than once, or re-hired a former employee with equally disastrous results. Rarely has the attitude and behavior of a former employee dissimilar than when you asked them to find employMent elsewhere or they quit. The marketplace is flooded with unemployed applicants that have slick resumes and references are seldom verified. An applicant that needs a Job is likely to say just about whatever to gain your acceptance.

The costs of employee turnover have a important consequence on your little resources. It also has an work on and normally not a certain one on the other employees. They wonder if you or your human resources group has a clue about hiring the right citizen for the Job. What have you done to compare either or not the applicant shares the traits that you want and the business and its customers deserve?

I want to help you make the right hiring choices. There are hiring processes and hiring profiles to Supply a holistic approach. The group of Labor talks about this advent and recomMends a battery of assessments. Let's look at three profiles that are easily available, actually administered, proven and affordable and that my investigation has uncovered as the best of breed.

What natural talents do you have? As the leader of the society you lead citizen and administrate things. Using the Disc Index we've seen scores as they recap to excellent doing in a variety of roles. There is no ideal or excellent set of scores for any role as the variables that work on success are many. Those variables may be taken into consideration by a trained coach after interviewing the leader in their environment, thought about looking at the scores in context and with whom the leader will be working, etc.

Why are you motivated to use them? Turnover is expensive, as is not achieving the goals of the society straight through motivated employees who share your vision and have accountability. Getting the right employees in the right positions and who share the values of your society can make or break your career or business. The chance costs of chronic to hire or sustain employees who are not excited or engaged, recap well with other team members, or don't possess the ideal benchmarks for their role, i.e.: sales, management/supervisory, and customer assistance increases the chances they will not be victorious in the role you located them. Can you afford to continue taking that risk?

What are you looking for? That depends on the role that you are recruiting to fill or retaining an incumbent that isn't meeting expectations. Is customer assistance an oxymoron in your business? Are your teams pulling together or part? What is it that annoys you in communications with your team? Which of those groups do you have the most mystery with? You have to resolve the types of things that are vitally leading to the role, i.e.; call center, and then resolve straight through proven assessments that the employees now in those roles possess the ideal traits. Did you hire Tim Tebow on Friday and Charlie Sheen showed up for work on Monday?

What is it you need to measure? Disc Index is normally my hint if the leadership says that getting their ream to good understand each other is the objective. A Values Index may be the option if a leader says their employees are not excited or engaged. The third profile often used is the Attribute Index which is my option if a leader says to me that it is an individual employee doing issue. The Attribute Index is the first hint I make to a leader so we can resolve their leadership talents. That is where the turn has to begin, with the leader of the organization.

Why You Can't Miss conference of the Juggalos Music Festival 2011

Why You Can't Miss conference of the Juggalos Music Festival 2011

The largest Juggalo institution and only Juggalo music festival in 2011 will highlight many of the same events that have become convention of the Juggalos staples over the past 12 years, all of which do their part to ensure that convention of the Juggalos remains one of a kind among music festivals in 2011.

The most celebrated events to be back at the convention of the Juggalos are the highly foreseen, wet T-shirt and Ms. Juggalette contests, late night comedy routines, carnival and helicopter rides, Hogdaddy's Hellfire, Juggalo Wrestling and late night parties. Concerning the actual music at the convention of the Juggalos 2011 music festival, the enTire Psycopathic house and Hatchet House entertainMent roster will be on deck. But those are to be expected. What's separate about the convention of 2011?

New Additions to convention of the Juggalos 2011, and Charlie Sheen?

For one, the role of the hosts. A convention of the Juggalos first, this year celebrity hosts Charlie Sheen, Dustin Diamond, and Flavor Flav will be introducing Psychopathic Records acts and all the rest before they come on sTAGe.

Charlie Sheen has had quite the year in the communal spotlight, but even under the publicity microscope, not many made light of his Juggalo pride. That's right, Charlie Sheen is a self-proclaimed Juggalo, just one storyline to look out for at the convention in 2011.

Gathering of the Juggalos Lineup of 2011

One more entertaining developMent of the convention of the Juggalos is its lineup. Historically, convention of the Juggalos festivals have featured musicians who do their very best to remain as distant from the mainstream as possible. convention of the Juggalos is still arguably the largest hidden music festival in 2011, but this year's lineup is considerably more star studded than those of years past.

George Clinton, Busta Rhymes, Ice Cube, Lil John, Xzibit, and Mc Hammer are all on the bill for the music festival in 2011, not to mention convention of the Juggalos "down with the clown" mainstay Vanilla Ice. That list of hard knocks performers alone guarantees that this year's producers won't make the mistake of booking person like last year's misfit act Tila Tequila again. There are also two top-secret acts on the bill for the 2011 music festival whose identities are being kept under lock and key until the convention begins.

Juggalo Wrestling

Yet nothing makes the music festival in 2011 more unique than the fact it has an grand Juggalo wrestling sideshow, put on by Icp's very own Juggalo Wrestling (Formerly known as Juggalo Championshit Wrestling) organization. If Charlie Sheen's comedic antics are too light hearted, then Juggalo wrestler Chyna and the rest of this year's brutal Juggalo wrestling lineup might fulfill your need for blood and guts.

Gathering of the Juggalos never fails to leave a persisting impression, and with Charlie Sheen, Juggalo Wrestling, and Ice Cube all to be present at the music festival in 2011, this year's convention of the Juggalos is to be no different.

The Purpose of a Resume: To Win an Interview

The Purpose of a Resume: To Win an Interview

Your resume must be great than anything your competitors have to offer if you are going to get an interview. A well-written resume generates phone calls. Those phone calls are from prospective employers who want to interview you for a Job. If you are not getting phone calls and you are sending out resumes, then you need to take a closer look at your resume.

The Purpose of a Resume: To Win an Interview

The Purpose of a Resume: To Win an Interview

Any resume can list employMent dates and Job position titles, but only the best resumes speak the language employers want to hear.

The Languange Of Results

If you just list the Job duties you performed and hope the prospective employer makes the leap that you are a good employee, you are probably going to be in for a big surprise. You see, they don't have time to read your Job responsibilities and then ponder how you managed to accomplish all that you did. Hiring managers naturally do not have that kind of time. They are scanning a resume for the words that show results.

Make It Easy For Employers.

You have to show them that you are a cut above the rest of the crowd by providing concrete examples of your successes. Do the reasoning for the employer and give them what they are seeing for.

First, use action-oriented keywords that reflect your capability to solve problems, take initiative, are performance-driven and goal-based.

Second, quantify your stateMents with numbers that define your desire to work on the lowest line. Give examples of how you saved the enterprise money or time (relates to money) or how you earned money for the company. Numbers have meaning and are easy to latch on to. Employers love to read quantifiable stateMents (that are truthful) as it paints a photo that Shows what you fulfilled, rather than the dubious joy of your words telling them what you did.

Resumes can work For you or they can work Against you. When you list the data employers want to see, then you will have a great deal of success. You will be one of the ones to get a coveted phone call for an interview. If you don't take the time to get ready a resume in a way that grabs a hiring manager's attention, it is as a matter of fact working against you.

Take the time to write an excellent resume. It may take a minute longer to think of the right words to use, but in the end, when you are enjoying the benefits of an excellent career, you will be So Glad you did.

Best of Luck!

Kingsbridge Cathedral - Where Stories Collide

On the night of 14 November 1940, the city of Coventry burned as Luftwaffe bombs and incendiary devices rained down. The next morning, Coventry Cathedral lay in smoking ruins. The decision to re-build the Cathedral was taken immediately by the Provost Dick Howard, as a sign of hope for the city and for the time to come of a ravaged world.

While sifting through the rubble, Jock Forbes, the Cathedral's stonemason, found that two of the charred medieval roof timbers had fallen in the shape of a cross. He set them up in the ruins, much as a distinctive metal cross was set up at Ground Zero after the collapse of the Twin Towers on September 11th 2001. This charred cross was later placed on an altar of the rubble of Coventry Cathedral with the appealing words 'Father Forgive' inscribed on the Sanctuary wall.

Cathedrals are places where stories collide. Places where thousands of population who would not commonly meet can come together. They may be tourists or worshippers, professionals or rogues, lovers or haters but they all come.

Within the walls of any Cathedral you will find these stories, often ancient, often painful inscribed on the walls and floors. Memories of knights, soldiers, wives and children. Tombs of priests, saints and kings. Lives well lived and lives lost. At St Paul's Cathedral in London alone, you will find memorials to a dazzling array of paramount British figures including Sir Winston Churchill, Lord Horatio Nelson, The Duke of Wellington and Florence Nightingale. In recent years, an estimated 2.5 billion population Watched the wedding of Prince Charles to the Lady Diana Spencer played out at St Paul's Cathedral.

Cathedrals hold our history in all its beauty and terror, preserved sometimes in the occasion as wars raged. The most paramount medieval Cathedrals were built in the middle of about 1000 and 1600 Ad in England, France, Italy, Spain and Germany. So why were they built and what of the population who built them? Best selling author Ken Follett, who wrote the permanently favorite novel 'The Pillars of the Earth' about the building of a cathedral, sums up the paradox of these great buildings;

'The building of the medieval cathedrals is an spectacular, European phenoMenon. The builders had no power tools, they did not understand the mathematics of structural engineering, and they were poor: the richest of princes did not live as well as, say, a prisoner in a modern jail. Yet they put up the most gorgeous buildings that have ever existed, and they built them so well that they are still here, hundreds of years later, for us to study and marvel at.'

From as early as Ad 604, Cathedrals were a key part of the daily convention of Christian life in Europe. Life was paramount and mourned here, from baptism to communion, to marriage to death. population came to talk to their Priests and whilst Bishops, Lords and Kings came to speak to their people.

The cost of building a Cathedral was vast, both in terms of money and human endeavour. This is why they are principally found in towns and cities where money congregated, such as Canterbury and York, Lincoln, Worcester and Chichester.

Building might take hundreds of years and would hire the skills of a estimate of specialist craftsMen, woMen and labourers. To build a Cathedral you would need a good architect plus quarry men, stone carvers, carpenters, a specialist mason, a specialist stone cutter, a stone Dresser, a black smith, plumbers, a roofer, mortar makers, a glazier or glass maker, a stained glass craftsman, sculptors and other labourers. Families would hand their work on the task to their sons and daughters until the Job was done. through rain and Snow, despite war, famine and plague, from sunrise to sunset they worked with one mission - to build on.

Everyday population were remembered in the building, names carved into walls and onto plaques or tablets of stone. Gargoyles were sometimes made in the image of a bishop or a worker. Stained glass windows, statues, and painting told Bible stories for those who couldn't read.

Person by person, inch by inch, brick by brick a Cathedral emerges. So many stories under one roof, no wonder that one day these stories would be told. Ken Follett, the novelist who took up the challenge was already well established as a writer of thrillers like the best selling Eye of the Needle published in 1978. He describes what gave him the idea to write his Cathedral epic;

'The stones themselves describe the building history: stops and starts, damage and reconstruction, extensions in times of prosperity, and stained-glass tributes to the wealthy men who commonly paid the bills. Other story is told by the way the church is sited in the town. Lincoln faces over the road to the castle, religious and soldiery power nose to nose. Winchester has a neat grid of streets, laid out by a medieval bishop who fancied himself a town planner. Salisbury moved, in the thirteenth century, from a defensive hilltop site - where the ruins of the old cathedral are still graphic - to an open meadow, showing that permanent peace had arrived.'

Naturally his publishers were nervous and in a way, Follett's journey to bring his novel about required as much dedication as the cathedral builders needed. His epic novel 'The Pillars of the Earth' was written over a span of 13 years. Follett remembers his first attempt, when he realised exactly what he had taken on;

'Looking back, I can see that at the age of twenty-seven I was not capable of writing such a novel. I was like an apprentice watercolour painter planning a vast canvas in oils. To do justice to its subject, the book would have to be very long, cover a period of some decades and bring alive the great sweep of medieval Europe. I was writing much less ambitious books, and even so I had not yet mastered the craft.'

The Pillars of the Earth was ultimately published in 1989 and has been a hit ever since. The novel has made numerous appearances on best distributor lists nearby the world including 80 in Germany.

The Pillars of the Earth is a majestic novel. Follett throws the reader abruptly into the cold, damp, difficult lives of a central character, Tom Builder, as he tries to keep starvation from the door of his family. Although penniless, Tom harbours a life long dream to put his talent for building to work on the most ambitious task ready to a man of his time; the building of a Cathedral in Kingsbridge, Follett's fictional town set in a gorgeous angle of South West England.

So has this book captured the imagination of population nearby the world that filming of an ambitious million eight hour television adaptation 'The Pillars of the Earth' is now complete. This compelling series was produced by a vast array of veteran administrative producing talent including, three-time Oscar® nominee Ridley Scott (Robin Hood, Gladiator, American Gangster), Tony Scott (The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, Top Gun, Spy Game) and David W. Zucker (The Good Wife) along with long term German production partner Tandem Productions. Well loved British actor Ian McShane, no strange to sinister roles, plays the villain of the piece. The story has a wealth of intriguing, heroic and duplicitous characters for the cast of well loved actors including Donald Sutherland, Matthew Macfadyen and Sarah Parish to get their teeth into.

The mini series will premier in the United States in July and is slated to appear in the Uk on Channel 4 this Autumn. Tim Highsted, Programme Acquisition Director of Channel 4 says, "We are delighted to premiere The Pillars of the Earth on Channel 4. Epic in scale and ambitious in its storytelling, this miniseries is sure to spellbind viewers and is the exquisite addition to our acquired programmes."

So for those of you who like to step surface of our hurried world for a while, why not visit one of Europe's many historic local Churches, Abbeys or Cathedrals? Take some well-earned time out to gawk the stories they keep and to remember the grit, estimation and courage of those who built them.

And when the days draw in and you are ready for a good story on Tv to whisk you away to Other time, Other place - The Pillars of the Earth maybe just the thing to while away hours.

Coins' being of historical value is one of the many factors why habitancy derive them. Beauty and range also conduce to the collector's growing numbers.

To be a collector, you must be aware of how to ascertain the worth of your coins. Who knows, you might just be retention on to a very rare artifact, or one that would cost millions on an auction or bidding.

First step in being a coin accumulator is to look up literature. You need to be in the know of what coins are available out there, where to get them and how to get them. This is very necessary to one who'd see the coins as a form of investMent.

You also need to resolve four things before you take a coin to your collection. You need to identify them, have them authenticated and witness them for damage. This would be vital points to think in range coins.

To identify them, you need to look at your coins very wholly and note the shape, the colors, and the writings. You also need to verify which country issued that coin. If there is no denomination on the face of the coins, it's just a token or probably a medal.

Authentic coins should be treasured and prized. They're hard to find, especially if they are rare, little issues. A lot of fakes and counterfeit coins are available in the market, so beware!

The value of your coin will depend upon its grade. Coin catalogs normally have their own, exact grading guidelines but here's a general list of them.

* Mint State exquisite Uncirculated (Ms-70) is an uncirculated coin. It should show no apparent damage and be in top shape. It is thought about to be the best potential of coin possible.

* Uncirculated (Ms-60) is other uncirculated coin having a few scratches on touch marks and that have lost some of its sheen.

* About Uncirculated (Au-50) is a coin which has evidence of light wear on most parts but still retains at least half of its original sheen.

* very Fine (Ef-40) is coin wherein the coin invent is lightly worn off but the features can be still considerable and are still quite sharp.

* Very Fine (Vf-20) is other coin wherein some of fine details like hAir or eyebrows are mostly worn off. There is evidence of modest wear on some points of the invent but all major parts are still clearly etched.

* Very Good (Vg-8) is a coin wherein even though the rim is still clearly visible, the invent is practically worn off and only few details of it are clear.

* Good (G-4) are coins that are heavily worn but the invent and the legend are still visible. Much of the details are gone.

* About Good (Ag-3) are coins that are very heavily worn that some of the lettering and the original invent are not discernible anymore.

Damaged coins come over often in the procedure of a collector's quest. Most collectors steer off coins that have undergone cleaning or re-polishing. Corroded, scratched and drilled into coins are also a big turn off. Although it's sometimes hard to find one, it's better to find an untampered speciMen.

The quiz, on most beginners' minds is this: How much do I get paid for a singular coin. The reply is: It varies everywhere. It depends on the qualities of the coin as well as the guide the buyer is using. For a general idea of pricing, here's a quick list.

1. U.S. Wheat cents (1958 and earlier) that were in circulation goes for a few cents to 3 Dollars each.

2. 1943 "steel pennies are very uncommon and of high value 1943 cents set on a general bronze planchet. They are tested to resolve if it attracts magnets and if so, it is plated using copper. They are sold for 5 to 50 cents if circulated, and up to a Dollar or two if not in circulation.

3. Silver dimes, quarter and half dollars from 1964 or earlier are composed of practically 90% silver. So their amount depends on their silver content.

4. Silver dollars from 1935 and up are accumulator favorites and can be normally be sold for more than their value in silver . The less base the date, the higher the pricing goes.

5. Susan B. Anthony dollars are worth about one dollar.

6. Bicentennial quarters, half and dollars are normally worth what's on their face value.

7. Coins in commemoration of the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana are spotted to cost from to .

8. A coin with two heads, tails or those that have different designs of two coins have no value to collectors because they are coins that have been convert to introduce a novelty item.

There are also the kinds of coins that are made by mistake. These are called 'mules' and are often produced because of an error in pAiring different dies. Expect rare coins like these to cost a little higher than most.

So with these things in mind, have fun in manufacture your own range grow. Who knows what part of history you'll witness by finding rare specimens.

Why Doesn't Flash Work on My iPhone or iPad?

Why Doesn't Flash Work on My iPhone or iPad?

This is a base examine and I hear it from company owners who have a website built using Flash or a home page that uses Flash. Let's recap the reasons why Apple does not hold Flash and what you can do about it.

Why Doesn't Flash Work on My iPhone or iPad?

Why Doesn't Flash Work on My iPhone or iPad?

Why Doesn't Flash Work on My iPhone or iPad?

Why Doesn't Flash Work on My iPhone or iPad?

Why Doesn't Flash Work on My iPhone or iPad?

Have You Tried This Before?

You are on your iPhone or iPad and type in a Url for your local restaurant. You wait a second and you get a message that states you need to download Adobe Flash in order to view the site. There is the "download" button. You click the button and expect things to work.

Suddenly, you get this message:

"Flash Player not ready for your device

Apple restricts use of technologies required by products like Adobe® Flash® Player. Until Apple eliminates these restrictions, Adobe cannot furnish Flash Player for the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch."

The message is from Adobe. And, it makes it appear that Apple is to blame.

But, is it Apple's fault?

Why Flash Doesn't Work

My answer to why Flash doesn't work on your Apple mobile device is that it is in their best interest, and of course, Apple believes that their best interest is also your best interest. (Hey, Google uses this line of self-interest based logic all of the time.)

As they say, "follow the money." Since Apple controls all in their environMent, they have the power to make decisions which will maximize their profits. But, my notion is that Apple's decision is also good for the user.

Let me recap the reasons that Apple in case, granted for not allowing Flash on their mobile devices:

1. Flash is a complete system.

My two cents: Isn't Apple a complete system?

2. Reliability, protection and carrying out issues on mobile devices.

My two cents: I am not a tech-guy so I don't have data to hold this claim. But, I do have personal taste with Flash on the many Mac Computers I have owned. My taste is that sometimes reliability and carrying out issues do happen with Flash on a Mac. Specifically, if my internet browsing taste encounters a site with Flash, the site may download slowly or it could crash my Computer. Flash-interruptus?

3. Flash drains battery life.

My two cents: I don't know this to be true, but it makes sense that it would cause this issue on mobile devices. How much of an issue in reality, I have no idea.

4. Flash is designed for Pcs and not touch screens.

My two cents: This is the case for all in tech that was invented before the mobile web existed, right? (Since Al Gore invented the Internet, I wonder who invented the mobile web? Newt Gingrich? Charlie Sheen? It appears the credit for the mobile phone invention is Martin Cooper.)

5. Adobe wants developers to adopt Flash for developing apps for Apple's mobile devices. Apple says no. Apple does not want a third-Party improveMent tool to get between them and developers.

The net of all this is that Apple has operate and it appears to me, they came to the right decision. Of course, when it come to technology, things do change.

What Should You Do?

I love Apple products. I like Adobe products as well.

But, as a buyer with an Apple mobile device, I don't think you will miss Flash.

As a business, all you need to do is get a mobile site that is designed to work on all mobile devices. Your main website was built for the Computer and not the mobile web. Think of this as an opportunity to tap into all those consumers who have mobile phones and search the mobile web 500 million times each month!

Best of all, building a mobile site for your company that is going to be very affordable.

What Makes A Good Employee?

A good laborer will look smart at all times and therefore will make an effort with their appearance. They will keep good time, for example will arrive for work on time and will be more than happy to work additional hours when required.

A good laborer will be very flexible; they will be willing to turn their working hours or the location of their work to suit the firm they work for. They will also be happy to run errands which may be surface of the Job record such as collecting sandwiches and visiting clients.

Then of course is the Job at hand. A good laborer will work to the best of their abilities and will take a pride in the work that they do. They will show an interest in studying new tasks and in taking any industry examinations that are available. They will also be open to any new changes the firm decides to make.

A good laborer will have respect for their employer and will not leave them in the lurch by phoning in sick when they are perfectly fit to attend work etc.

A good laborer will show a sure attitude in and out of the workplace. An laborer that is always criticising and moaning can have a very damaging and negative influence on productivity.

These are just a few of the qualities that a good laborer should have, and guess what? Yes, I have them all.

The book "The Art of War" was made favorite by the move Wall street with Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas.

To many small enterprise owners get distracted by the tactic of the week. This is the shiny object that someone advertising rep brings in and tells you how it's getting 20,000 unique visitors each month on a website. The problem with the tactic of the week is that you have no Filter to part it by. We're going to teach you to avoid the tactic of the week syndrome in a time to come article, but for now just stop doing it and save your money. Unless it's working, then go for it. You can always adapt it into your marketing strategy after you go through this process.

How to start identifying your marketing strategy

Here is a three step process to establish your marketing strategy in your business.

2. Be different
3. Join together the dots

Deciding who matters

Your strategy must petition to someone. You're going to establish yours nearby a narrowly defined target profile. I know what you're thinking, but we sell to a lot of dissimilar people. My response to that is, "If it's working, keep doing it." If it's not, try my way.

In the next record I will share how you identify your narrowly defined target audience.

Differentiating yourself

If you don't have a clear differentiator in your marketing strategy, your market place will differentiate for themselves. There is a problem with not having a clear differentiator, your prospects ordinarily use price to decide.

This step is very foremost if you want your marketing strategy to be effective. And yes, you do have a differentiator. I'm going to teach you how to find it.

Connecting your dots

After you faultless the former two steps, you're going to take the facts and generate your marketing strategy from it. This process is the underground sauce to creating your marketing strategy. You will be amazed at how effective this will be, but you're going to have to read the next couple articles to get the rest of the goodies.

An example of Duct Tape Marketing's Strategy

• To generate a recognizable brand by turning marketing for small businesses into a ideas and a product.

Our mission is to radically convert the way small enterprise owners think about marketing and our "Marketing as a strategy" is how we're doing that.

Breast Cancer The Cure

There is no known cure for breast cancer. More than 1.5 million citizen will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year worldwide. Scientists don't know why most woMen get breast cancer, yet breast cancer is the most frequent tumor found in woMen the world over. A woman who dies of breast cancer is robbed of an mean of nearly 20 years of her life. Breast cancer knows no collective boundaries. It’s a disease that can sway anyone. Some leading woMen who’s lives that have been touched by breast cancer contain Jill Eikenberry actress age 52; Peggy Fleming age 49 form skater; Kate Jackson age 50 (Charlies Angels); Olivia Newton-John age 50 actress singer; Nancy Reagan age 77 former first lady; Melissa Etheridge age 43 singer; and the beautiful Suzanne Summers actress. These high rates of breast cancer are not thorough to the women of the world and must be met with scientific investigate that provides results.

Despite over a decade of research, and more than .7 billion spent, hundereds of women worldwide are dying from breast cancer every day. Yet doctors don’t know how breast cancer starts or how to cure it. Doctors are still approaching rehabilitation for breast cancer in the same old fashioned ways: surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Barbarick treatments…And scientists keep doing the same old redundant investigate that’s plainly not working. It doesn’t have to be that way. Gen Cells Cures is a scientific biotechnology company that is focused on a cure for breast cancer. The company is dedicated to curing breast cancer before it’s too late for you. We’re not interested in a cure in five, ten, or twenty years from now. We want your cure for breast cancer within a year or two. We don’t want you to have to under go surgery, radiation, chemotherapy or take toxic drugs.

Why Gen Cells Cures? You can search the curative journals; you can search the internet until your blue in the face. You will find the same old news which is no new news about breast cancer investigate and treatments. Breast cancer investigate is locked up in a black whole. Gen Cells Cures is approaching the cure for breast cancer from dissimilar angles and using tomorrow’s scientific technologies today. Our expertise is in stem cell investigate and genomics. Malfunctioning stem cells have already been related to the development of breast cancer. We’re not talking about using generic stem cells from an egg and sperm cell. There is no genetic match for you with the politically controversial generic stem cells that are all the time in the news. The isolation of cancer stem cells, coupled with our insight of genetic mutations causing cancer, and our knowledge of genomics will succeed in ways to eliminate cancer cells while sparing normal breast tissues.

Genetics and Breast Cancer

People will tell you to accept what you can’t change…Your genetics, your genes, the genes your mom and father handed you when you were born that came with their particular genetic make-up. Most inherited cases of breast cancer have been related with two genes: Brca1 and Brca2. The past five years has been a duration of unparalleled discovery in the field of genetics, genomics, and stem cell research, but these discoveries are not being applied to breast cancer treatments. A Job that Gen Cells Cures by all means; of course wants to get our hands dirty in. Recently researchers have found that by blocking a gene called beta1-integrin the increase of tumor cells can be stopped. When this gene was removed the tumor cells quit growing. You don’t have to accept the genes that you were given at birth. Gen Cells Cures will be able to manipulate your genes to cure your breast cancer.

Our Cancer Stem Cell and Genomics schedule will bring together the top scientific minds in the world under one tin roof to maximize the use of diverse approaches to the insight of cancer genomics fused with stem cell solutions. Gen Cells Cures isn’t looking for a multi-million Dollar biomedical investigate town like the Stowers create in Kansas City, which is a curative town to be admired. A rented tin shack will do just fine. Of course, we would accept hand-me down michroscopes from the Stoweres (billionAires who bought their own multi-million Dollar biomedical investigate center) if they would be gracious enough to grant them to us or we would accept a small prime the pump check to move forward with our research. The Stowerses and all the scientists from the Stowers create have an open invitation to visit our lab in the Caribbean. What we are looking for is a cure for breast cancer to stop the humiliation, pain and suffering this menace to community causes millions of women and thousands of men worldwide, and not a new biomedical center… Every Dollar invested with us goes into pure curative investigate and equipment. The same offer goes out to all the millionAires and especially the billionAires of the world. citizen that come to mind are: Paul Allen, Bill and Melinda Gates, Jon Huntsman, William and Alice Goodman, Ann Lurie, Jamie and Karen Moyer, Harold C. Simmons, Alfred Mann, Sumner M. Redstone, Michael Milton and the Palm beach billionAires, there are plainly too many to mention. The combined wealth of the three Microsoft billionaires alone is more than ten times the number spent by the U.S. Federal Government on investigate to fight cancer and other deadly diseases. We know we’re in the wrong company to come to be billionaires ourselves. This kind of biotechnology has never produced even one billionaire. It’s the cure for breast cancer that we want.

Simply put the cancer investigate organizations are funding the wrong researchers. It’s time to go face the normal investigate channels. Do something different. The same story year after year after year and no cure. These unmotivated researchers just aren’t getting results. Let man else have a shot at it. It’s time to try something new and different. A dissimilar approach. There are races for the cure, golf tournaments for the cure, there are walks for the cure, there are foundations for the cure. These foundations have been funding the same ineffective investigate for more than twenty years now. These foundations have been betting on the wrong horse. Joining the search won’t help if the investigate being done doesn’t take on a twenty-first century scientific approach. It’s been time to move forward scientifically for five years now. But today’s breast cancer researchers are stuck in a twentieth century mind-set. The Excuse is someday we’ll find the cure, but someday doesn’t help today’s victims of breast cancer. We need top notch scientific activity today.

The genetics are out of the bottle and stem cell investigate is appealing forward either the U.S. Government likes it or not. Gen Cells Cures has moved off-shore to the Caribbean to avoid the political controversy over stem cell research. I am sure you won’t mind a walk on the beach with me to talk about your cure for your breast cancer. Once we have the cure we can take the cure from the bench to the inpatient without a long and costly wait for Fda approval. There are many advanTAGes to not having big brother breathing down your neck. The governments of the United States and Western countries have nothing to offer except road blocks, red tape and detours. Our patients don’t have time for political smoke and mirrors. With a wee luck we could have your cure before the time comes that you need that dreaded surgery and chemo.

Our gifted world-class researchers are visionary and have been schooled in winning and have courage, creativity, can-do attitudes, burning desires, unfaltering reliance and an obsession that they will be there first. By first we mean years ahead of the other biotechnology companies. Like determined, fighting Nascar drivers our scientists are living to take the chequered flag of biotech and win the coveted race for the cure for breast cancer.

Focused on breakthrough discoveries, Gen Cells Cures nurtures a culture that encourages high standards of excellence, customary thinking, hard work and a willingness to take risks. Our world-renowned scientists believe in themselves and its reliance that gets us there. The company will seek to create a work environment that is results focused and team-orientated. We compete against time. Though we compete intensely we sound high ethical standards and trust and respect for each other. Potential is the cornerstone of all our activities. We seek the highest Potential information, decisions and people. Our success depends on classic scientific innovation. We see the scientific method as a multi-step process which includes designing the right experiment, collecting and analyzing data and rational decision making. It is not subjective or emotional but rather a logical, open and rational process.

Our success comes from one uncomplicated fact; we are committed to being a science-based, patient-driven company, driven by that one extra breast cancer patient…you.

Gen Cells Cures lost most of our one million dollar start-up money in offshore bank scandal and currency devaluation last year. We are now actively pursuing financial support. Unfortunately, the Gen Cells Cures team is made up of great scientific minds and not great marketers, salesmen, or fund raisers. Yes, we are looking for a millionaire or billionaire without a cause to retain our work, but if you are not our wealthy saviour, we welcome any help, be it financial or a donation of your time. The scientific team is on stand-by. What we’re lacking is the funding to go forward. We could use motivated salesmen to sell our research, fund raisers, skilled internet marketers or man just to pass out flyers or mail out promotional material. We could use help from the media with publicity stories, ads and promotions to get the word out. We are particularly interested in looking for assistance from the billionaires of the world; there are approximately 600 in the world. Billionaires like Sergey Brin and Larry Page (Google billionaires), Rupert Murdoch, Ted Turner, and Oprah Winfrey and others who operate the media could get our life-saving message to the world Fast. We are also hoping that some of my celebrities friends will come forward and spread their wings to help retain our breast cancer research: Steven Seagal, Charlie Sheen, Wesley Snipes, Danny Glover, Erik Estrada, Tom Arnold, Dolph Lundgren, Roger Clinton, Bill Clinton, Usher, Hulk Hogan, Ivana Trump, John Secada, Sylvester Stalone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Reno, Richard Branson, Cindy Crawford, Cher, Demi Moore, Michelle Pfeiffer, and other stars that I have had the good fortune of meeting in man and others celebrities that I hope to meet in the future. (Photos of Gerald and the stars can be viewed at his promotional group listed below.) I am waiting to get my photo with Suzanne Summers!

Gen Cells Cure offers more than hope. We can do the Job. If you’re going to eradicate cancer you have to have the right citizen doing the right research. One thing is for sure. We couldn’t do any worse than what the scientists before us have done. Which is virtually nothing! Help us alleviate the pain and suffering. Together, with your help, we can cure breast cancer.
